On July 7th, 2007 the Tampa Tribune included Give & Take, Inc. in its newest article on downtown Tampa retailers. The article is titled "Downtown Retailers Open for Business", and was run in the printed Tribune over the weekend of the seventh, as well as on TBO.com. The article, by Janis D. Froelich for The Tampa Tribune, discusses the flourishing downtown Tampa communities, as well as highlights numerous business' who have decided to make downtown their location of choice. Melissa Derickson, founder and current owner of Give & Take, Inc. and www.shopgiveandtake.com, is quoted saying "we saw potential here six or seven years ago", referring to her long-running involvement in Tampa's central business district as well as the Channel District, where Give & Take, Inc. is currently located.

Jargol is tremendous shopping and fashion resource, designed to feature the newest, fashion forward designers, as well as a a guide the best independent shops around the country. Give & Take's owners took delivery of a newly constructed, street level retail space located at 101 N 12th Street, Unit #101 in Tampa, FL. The space is approximately 1400 square feet, with tremendous street visibilty on the North East corner of 12th Street & Whiting Street in the channelside district of downtown Tampa.
This space is located in what is known as the Model T building, adjacent to the Victory Lofts. According to city records, what is now known as the Model T building was originally built in the 1920's as a storage and distribution warehouse for automobiles, which included Ford Model T's. Helps the explain the name.
Renovation of the space has begun, with great attention being payed to the custom-built retail fixtures, privately acquired modern furniture pieces, and custom lighting fixtures. The renovations are expected to be completed by the third week in October, to keep the store opening on track for October 31st, 2006!

Give & Take is finally open! Conveniently opening on Halloween 2006! The space is completed, all the walls are painted, the fixtures are in place, and they shelves are STOCKED.
Feel free to drop by, take a look around. Here's your chance to see some of the best fashion-forward designers from around the world. Collections currently available from designers like Ksubi++, Lover, Valentine, Cheap Monday, Grey Ant, Spring & Clifton, Geren Ford, and Rami Kashuo. New collections arrive every week, so keep an eye out!
Business hours (for now) are as follows:
Monday - Friday: 12PM - 6PM
Saturday: 11AM - 6PM
AFTER HOURS SERVICES AVAILABLE

Early Tsubi / Ksubi++ deliveries are begining to arrive! We're expecting tons of denim (of course!) as well as pretty good representation of the women's SS'07 fashion line. We don't expect fashion line to last long, as people are coming out of the woodwork to get this stuff. Several deliveries are expected over the next couple of months. Check back often!
